Dear Potential Visitor to Eden Softplay and Saint Saviour’s Church,
Thank you for your interest in Saint Saviour’s Church, The Salvation Army and Eden Softplay.
We are excited that you are sensing a call from God to innovative mission and we hope you might find some inspiration and strategy by visiting with us. We also work in partnership with Meadows Salvation Army which is of particular interest to some people.
As you can imagine we get many requests for visits and this can take up a lot of staff time. So here is what we can offer:
When: Thursday mornings during term time you may visit 10.30am-12pm. Email three Thursday mornings you could visit on and someone will get back to you. In the email also give a brief description of who you are and what you hope to gain from visiting with us so we can make sure the right person is available to meet with you. Alternatively come to our main service at 4.30pm each Sunday which is in the church/Softplay.
Who: The vicar and usually one other member of staff will welcome you, supervise you and talk with you during your visit. We are happy to answer questions. Come straight to the reception at the Softplay for 10.30am. Sign in.
What: We will share with you the story, vision, mistakes, hopes for the future, some skills, ideas, tips. You will be visiting during one of our church staffed sessions to see it in action.
Helpful suggestion: From 12 midday buy yourself some lunch in the Softplay café and spend a bit of time by yourself observing, reflecting and asking God to speak to you. You will have come for a reason so take some time to be inspired and dream for yourself. How might this translate back to where you are. Please sign out by 1pm at the latest.
Directions: We are 10 minutes walk from the train station. The address is below. Parking is available but limited in our own car park on Saint Saviour’s Gardens. As a last resort you are welcome to park on the vicarage driveway which is through the black gates on Waldron Close.

We really look forward to meeting with you.
Kind regards,
Rev Hannah Hall Vicar/Pioneer Minister
